Psychologist

$62 - 90k Based on experience

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled School Psychologist to support the academic, social, and emotional development of students. The ideal candidate will assess student needs, provide interventions, and collaborate with families, educators, and community resources to ensure every student has the support they need to succeed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct assessments of students’ cognitive, academic, social, emotional, and behavioral functioning.
  • Develop recommendations and interventions to support student learning and development.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and outside professionals to create individualized plans and behavior strategies.
  • Administer and interpret standardized and supplemental assessments.
  • Provide counseling and guidance to students and families to promote success in school.
  • Prepare clear and comprehensive reports, evaluations, and documentation.
  • Coordinate with community agencies and service providers as needed.
  • Support school-wide programs and interventions, including crisis response and behavioral support.
  • Supervise interns or practicum students as appropriate.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in School Psychology or related field (advanced degree preferred).
  • Eligibility for or possession of state School Psychologist certification and Psychologist license.
  • Experience in school or educational psychology preferred.
  • Knowledge of assessment tools, psychological and educational principles, and best practices.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively.

Work Environment

  • Primarily office/school-based setting
  • Requires a mix of sitting, walking, and interaction with students and staff
