Operations Manager, W/S Manager or Water Treatment Manager. Department:
Public Works.
This position assists Water and Wastewater Treatment Operations staff in all aspects of water and wastewater treatment. It splits its time between the treatment facilities and is responsible for routine maintenance of equipment, buildings, and grounds, including plowing, mowing, tank cleanings at the treatment plants and associated outstations. It also conducts field sampling, performs basic laboratory tests, and is required to perform on‑call duty as part of the on‑call rotations.
Note:
this position is subject to recall and stand‑by duty during non‑regular working hours, weekends, and holidays. If holding a CDL, it is subject to federal CDL drug and alcohol requirements. Position should be able to respond within 60 minutes to the work site.

Minimum Qualifications- High school diploma or GED; or three to twelve months' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A valid driver's license is required and a valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with tank endorsement is desired.
- Grade I NH Wastewater Treatment License or Operator in Training (OIT) is required within 12 months of hire and Grade I NH Water Treatment License or OIT required within 24 months of hire.
