Must have 5+ years of hands‑on Assistant Plant Controller or Manufacturing Cost Accounting experience with strong ERP (SAP/People Soft/Epicor) and advanced Excel proficiency, working onsite at the Keene, NH plant in compliance with DOD/ITAR.

The Assistant Plant Controller supports the Plant Controller and leadership team to drive financial accuracy, cost control, and business performance at a manufacturing facility generating ~$80M in annual revenue. The role focuses on cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and compliance with GAAP and internal policies.

• Oversee month‑end closing, financial reporting, and variance analysis.
• Lead cost accounting activities—standard costing, inventory valuation, and job order review.
• Partner with operations to manage budgets, forecasts, and cost‑reduction initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX
  , and internal control standards.
• Support annual budget and five‑year financial planning cycles.
• Prepare financial analyses for capital projects and management presentations.

• Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
  .
• 5–10 years of manufacturing finance or cost accounting experience.
• Proven experience as an Assistant Plant Controller or equivalent role.
• Strong ERP experience (
  SAP, People Soft, or Epicor
  ) and advanced Excel skills.
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP
  , cost analysis, and financial controls.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or National (ITAR compliance required).
