The purpose of this program is to provide immediate interventions to stabilize the crisis in an effort to avoid psychiatric hospitalization. The Mobile Crisis Clinician and the Mobile Crisis Team will work in partnership with police, first responders, schools, and other community stakeholders.

This role will report to the Director of Acute Care Services & Mobile Crisis.

Responsibilities

  • Provide crisis stabilization follow-up as necessary.
  • Refer patients to the appropriate aftercare agencies.

Travel is required both within and outside of our Community Mental Health Center catchment area. Approximately 50-75%.

Clinicians must be available to respond to dispatch requests for the duration of their shift and work beyond their shift, as needed, based on coverage and dispatch needs.

Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Counseling Psychology, or a related clinical field from an accredited college or university plus two years relevant experience.
  • Preference given to those who have previous crisis intervention experience or who have a degree that is certifiable or licensable in N.H.
