Are you passionate about precision, innovation, and working with cutting-edge technology? Join our Fabrication team as a CNC Optical Technician, where you'll help produce high-performance optical components using advanced CNC diamond turning equipment.
Shifts Available
- 1st Shift: Monday–Thursday, 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- 2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday, 3:15 PM – 1:45 AM
- Set up, operate, and maintain CNC diamond turning machines to support production goals.
- Interpret engineering drawings and follow standardized work instructions and lean manufacturing processes.
- Use metrology tools to inspect and verify that optical components meet exacting specifications.
- Perform manual cleaning of optical surfaces using appropriate solvents and materials.
- Collect and analyze production data using basic math and statistical tools.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
Must-Have
Qualifications:
- U.S. Person status (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and follow written instructions in English
- Basic computer skills for data entry and equipment operation
- 5+ years of experience in machining or CNC production environments
- Proficiency in CNC equipment setup and operation
- 10+ years of experience in machining or CNC production environments
- Experience with precision measurements on optical or mechanical components
- May involve lifting or moving items up to 40 lbs.
- Exposure to chemicals and solvents; safety glasses and gloves are required.
- Standing for extended periods and working in a production environment.
