Position Overview

The Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) coordinates and delivers comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients . This role involves patient and family education, collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, and maintaining professional nursing standards in a clinical setting. The RN must be flexible, experienced, and comfortable floating as needed.

• Coordinate total nursing care for assigned patients
• Provide direct patient care to adult and geriatric populations
• Administer and manage cardiac drips
• Perform dementia care and behavior management
• Participate in patient and family education
• Collaborate with ancillary nursing staff and interdisciplinary care teams
• Maintain professional nursing standards and documentation
• Float to Kingsbury unit as needed
• Utilize Epic EMR for all documentation

• Adult
• Geriatric

• Active RN License (Nursys upload required)
• 2+ years of recent Medical-Surgical experience
• Cardiac drip experience – REQUIRED (must be clearly noted on profile)
• Dementia care/management experience – REQUIRED
• Epic EMR experience – REQUIRED
• BLS & ACLS – REQUIRED
• NIHSS – Strongly Preferred
• Must have own vehicle (no public transportation available)
• Permanent address must be included in profile

• 48-hour guaranteed contract only
• 36-hour guarantee NOT available
• Block scheduling will NOT be accommodated
• No local travelers accepted (must reside 50+ miles from facility )
