Schedule: Full-time assignment with OR and Interventional Radiology duties. Call coverage required on weekdays (3:30 PM - 7:00 PM) approximately 1-3 times per 5-6 day period. Weekend call Friday 3:30 PM through Monday 7:00 AM, approximately once every 5-6 weeks. Holiday coverage required for at least two of the following blocks:
Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's.
- Work in a dynamic Surgery Department specializing in a broad spectrum of surgical procedures including endocrine, breast, oncologic, gastrointestinal, colon and rectal (open and laparoscopic), and hepatobiliary cases
- Flexibility to perform both OR and Interventional Radiology duties within nursing scope of practice
- EPIC EMR system utilized throughout facility
- Candidates with scrub experience will receive priority consideration
- Opportunity to work with highly skilled surgical teams across multiple specialty areas
- 13-week assignment in a supportive surgical environment
- Current New Hampshire RN license or Compact state license
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Minimum 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience required
- Multiple surgical specialty experience required
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Scrub experience strongly preferred
- Must be willing to perform both OR and Interventional Radiology duties
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to stressful situations
- Reliable personal transportation required
- Must reside more than 50 miles from facility location
- New Hampshire Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate required for submission
