American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an all-in-one Labor & Delivery unit requiring proficiency across delivery, mother/baby, postpartum, and newborn care.

• All-in-one L&D unit providing care across delivery, mother/baby, postpartum, nursery, and newborn resuscitation
• Midwife-led team approach emphasizing low-intervention, natural birth support
• Day shift, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM-7:30 PM, 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• Block scheduling and 48-hour weeks are not available for this position

• Active NH or compact RN license
• Current BLS (AHA) certification
• Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required
• Postpartum and Mother/Baby care experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• AWHONN certification within the past 3 years preferred
• Candidates must have their own vehicle

• Provide nursing care to patients from infancy through adulthood, applying knowledge of age-related growth and development
• Work in a regional referral center partnering with a larger academic medical center for specialty care
• Must work two full holiday blocks if scheduled:
  Thanksgiving Day/Friday after and the following weekend, Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and the following weekend, and New Year's Eve through New Year's Day and the following weekend
• RTO requests must be submitted and verified prior to interview; no more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted
• Local candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered
• Candidates seeking to work this assignment alongside another permanent placement or travel assignment will not be considered
