American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a night shift position on the Farnum Unit requiring NH or compact license and Epic experience.

• Medical Surgical unit (Farnum Unit) in a regional referral hospital
• Adult-geriatric patient population
• 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM-7:30 AM, 36 hours/week guaranteed
• Every other weekend required, holidays required if needed
• No on-call requirements
• Floating required
• Epic EMR used

• Active NH or compact RN license
• Current certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 2 years of Med Surg experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must have own vehicle
• Skills checklist for Medical Surgical experience, current within 1 year, required
• One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years required

• Provide medical-surgical nursing care to adult and geriatric patients
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered
• Traveler-provided professional scrubs required, no logos
• Shift accommodation requests, including block scheduling, will not be considered
• All scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of application, as requests after offer may result in a rescinded offer
• Maximum of 5 days RTO may be requested
