SUMMARY

Responsible for ensuring each Front End associate provides fast, friendly, and efficient customer service. Oversees the entire Front End operation of the store, including customer checkout (registers, scanning, and service), bottle return, cleaning of the break room and restrooms, and the parking lot and sidewalk area. Ensures all front end policies and procedures are followed at all times. Assists the Customer Service Manager in communicating and enforcing company programs among Front End associates.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure the highest level of customer service and courtesy at all times.

Maintain company 5S efficiency standards.

Ensure associates promote the Advant Edge Card and acknowledge customers professionally.

Monitor shrink-related items and control measures.

Train and supervise cashiers, bottle associates, and service clerks.

Schedule associates and perform administrative duties.

Maintain cashier controls, security, and cash handling policies.

Manage supplies and expenses for the Front End area.

Oversee cash control and maintain detailed cashier logs.

Assist in managing Front End expenses such as payroll and over/shorts.

Ensure accurate and efficient customer order processing.

Record pricing errors promptly.

Keep the Front End area clean, safe, and compliant with regulations.

Maintain organized and neat workstations per 5S standards.

Ensure merchandise racks are stocked and tidy.

Ensure associates work within efficiency standards.

Perform other duties as assigned and adhere to company policies.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Must be at least 18 years old.
Successful performance reviews.
Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
Ability to manage and follow through with others.
Effective communication skills.
Basic literacy and computer skills.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or equivalent.
1-3 years related experience.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Exposure to cold and hot environments (occasional).
Constant bending, walking, standing, and squatting/kneeling.
Occasional sitting, lifting up to 75 lbs, and lifting 25-50 lbs frequently.
Frequent pushing/pulling up to 75 lbs.
Constant grasping, twisting, and pivoting.

EQUIPMENT USED

Phone, computer applications, calculator, register, cleaning tools, floor machine.
