Delivery Driver

POSITION SUMMARY:

Provides safe transportation to and from program sites while maintaining a supportive and positive atmosphere. All while promoting youth development, healthy living and social responsibility in accordance with YMCA policies and procedures.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• CDL B license with passenger endorsements preferred but not required.

Meets 80% to 100% of the following qualifications:

• Ability to perform duties with professionalism, enthusiasm, kindness, empathy, care, honesty, and respect.
• Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community.
• Knowledge of the rules/guidelines related to commercial passenger vehicles (bus).
• Certifications required within 30 days of hire: CPR and First Aid.
• Desire and ability to work with children.
• Meet qualifications set by our insurance company for Motor Vehicle History.

PREFERED LEVEL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Has at least 5 years of work experience as a bus driver with a CDL license.
• Minimum three years' experience working with Children

All positions require passing a background check.
