- Liverpool Salary/Package - £55,000 - £70,000 Excellent Benefits Package About the Company Our client is a specialist contractor operating within the faade and building envelope sector, delivering high-quality faade solutions across major construction projects. The business has established itself within the industry through its specialist technical knowledge, quality workmanship, and ability to deliver complex faade packages. With a strong pipeline of projects, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team and take responsibility for a significant faade package in Liverpool.
The Role As Project Quantity Surveyor, you will take commercial responsibility for a £15m faade package on a major Liverpool development. Key responsibilities will include:
Managing the commercial performance of the £15m faade package Preparing and monitoring CVRs, forecasts, and cost reports Managing subcontractor and supplier accounts Preparing valuations, applications for payment, variations, and final accounts Monitoring project costs and identifying commercial risks and opportunities Reviewing contractual documentation and ensuring commercial compliance Managing procurement and subcontract negotiations Working closely with Project Managers, Contracts Managers, site teams, and senior management Maintaining accurate commercial records and reporting Liaising with clients, main contractors, consultants, and supply chain partners Supporting the successful commercial delivery of the faade package from start through to final account
The Ideal Candidate The successful Project Quantity Surveyor will have:
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within construction
Experience with in faades, cladding, building envelope, or specialist subcontracting would be highly advantageous Experience managing significant project packages Strong knowledge of cost control, CVRs, forecasting, valuations, and final accounts Experience managing subcontractor accounts and procurement Good understanding of construction contracts Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Good Microsoft Excel and IT skills Relevant Quantity Surveying or construction qualification What's on Offer £55,000 - £70,000 salary Excellent benefits package Opportunity to take commercial responsibility for a £15m faade package Major construction project based in Liverpool Exposure to complex faade and building envelope works Long-term career progression within a specialist contractor Supportive and commercially focused working environment Opportunity to work alongside experienced project and commercial professionals Apply:
