About the Role

Bradford Children and Families Trust is seeking an experienced Team Manager (TM) to join our Duty & Assessment Team. This is a key leadership role, supporting high-quality practice and ensuring timely and effective responses for children and families at the point of referral and assessment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide effective leadership and management to a Duty & Assessment social work team
• Oversee decision-making, risk management, and quality of assessments
• Ensure statutory responsibilities and performance targets are met
• Support and develop staff through supervision and guidance
• Work collaboratively with partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes for children

Working Arrangements

Bradford Children and Families Trust operates a hybrid working model, offering flexibility between home and office-based work. However, there will be occasions where attendance at the office is required for specific tasks, meetings, or team days, in line with service needs.

Essential Requirements:
Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
At least 3 years' experience as a social worker within children's services
Social Work England Registration
Driving license and access to own vehicle
