Veterinary Surgeon – Large Animal

• Provide emergency veterinary care for farm and equine cases, including surgical obstetrics
• Assess, diagnose, and manage a wide range of emergency presentations independently
• Build strong relationships with local farmers and clients
• Collaborate with the wider practice team to ensure continuity of care
• Contribute to a high standard of clinical service within the Farm
  24 model
• Work the 1 week on / 3 weeks off rota
• Cover on-call shifts from 6pm–8am Monday–Thursday and 6pm Friday–8am Monday

• Veterinary degree and registration (or eligibility) with the RCVS
• Experience in farm and/or equine practice
• Confidence in emergency care
• Strong clinical decision-making skills
• Ability to work independently
• Interest or experience in surgical obstetrics
• Excellent communication skills
• Proactive, professional approach
