Keizer Fire District is looking for a member of the community to serve on its Civil Service Commission. This position is to fill the remainder of a vacancy that ends on May 17th, 2026. The commission oversees Keizer Fire Districts civil service system that ensures a fair and uniform system of hiring and promoting employees.
The commission meets annually with one or two special meetings throughout the year. This is a non-paid position.
We are looking for a candidate that is aresident of the fire district and has a commitment to ensuring that the fire district provides equal opportunity to qualified candidates in all aspects of employment.
Applications are now being accepted and are due by May 2nd. Applicants will be interviewed by the Board of Directors on May 20th at 5:30pm.
