Delivery Driver
Job Description:
Operate all equipment, stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, prepare product, receive and process telephone orders, take inventory and complete associated paperwork, clean equipment and facility approximately daily. Training provided on the job.

- Deliver product by car to customer door.
- Deliver flyers and door hangers.
- Maintain a valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
- Use an insured vehicle for delivery.
- Navigate adverse terrain and multi‑story buildings.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly.
- Make correct monetary change.
- Verbal, written, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to make precise movements.
- Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions; ability to communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.
Work ConditionsExposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather when delivering, in‑store temperatures ranging from 36° to 90+°F, fumes from food odors, exposure to cornmeal dust, cramped quarters, hot surfaces/tools up to 500°F, sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
Physical Demands- Standing:
Most tasks performed from standing position. - Walking:
Short distances for short durations. - Sitting:
Paperwork normally completed at a desk. - Lifting:
Bulk product deliveries up to 50 pounds. - Carrying:
Items up to 30 pounds carried between storage and front of store. - Pushing/Pulling:
Trays on dollies 24–30 inches, require pushing force up to 7.5 pounds. - Climbing:
Navigate stairs or ladder occasionally. - Stoop/Bend:
Forward bending at waist necessary at assembly station. - Crouch/Squat:
Occasionally stock shelves and clean low areas.
Reaching performed continuously up, down, and forward to turn oven controls, change prices on signs, and lift objects to/from shelves. Hand tasks involve forearms and wrists; machines, tools, and equipment include pencils, computers, telephones, calculators, pizza cutter, and peel. Drivers must navigate multi‑story buildings and private homes. Travel required between store, delivery vehicle, and customer location.
