The Mortgage Loan Post Closer is responsible for the final review, completion, and delivery of closed loan files to investors, warehouse banks, and internal departments. This role ensures that loan documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with company and investor guidelines. The Post Closer plays a key part in the quality control process and supports funding accuracy, compliance, and timely file delivery

• Review closed loan packages to ensure all required documents are complete and signed correctly
• Identify and correct deficiencies in closing documentation prior to final delivery
• Ship loan files to investors, warehouse banks, or custodians per specified timelines and protocols
• Maintain accurate records in loan tracking systems and update delivery status
• Monitor funding and delivery schedules to avoid penalties or purchase delays
• Communicate with title companies, closing agents, and internal teams to resolve outstanding post-closing issues
• Assist with trailing document management, including document retrieval and follow-up
• Participate in quality control audits and respond to investor requests for missing documentation
• Adhere to all company policies, investor requirements, and regulatory standards

• High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework or degree in finance or business preferred
• 1–3 years of experience in mortgage closing, post-closing, or related operations
• Knowledge of mortgage documents, investor delivery requirements, and regulatory standards
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency with loan origination and document management systems
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a high-volume environment
• Effective communication and problem-solving abilities
