This role is Hybrid.

The Mortgage Payroll Processor has deep expertise in commission structures, multi-state compliance, and compensation agreements within the mortgage industry. This role requires a strong understanding of payroll operations, accounting principles, and employee support. The Mortgage Payroll Processor is proactive, analytical, and capable of managing complex payroll scenarios with precision.

• Administer end-to-end payroll processing for a multi-state workforce, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Interpret and apply complex commission plans and compensation agreements for mortgage professionals.
• Maintain detailed records of compensation adjustments, bonuses, and overrides.
• Collaborate with Finance and HR teams to align payroll with organizational goals and P&L statements.
• Reconcile payroll transactions with accounting systems and assist in financial reporting.
• Provide expert-level support to employees regarding payroll inquiries, deductions, and earnings.
• Monitor legislative changes affecting payroll and ensure timely updates to processes and systems.

• Strong knowledge of commission-based compensation structures.
• Experience with multi-state payroll compliance and reporting.
• Familiarity with profit and loss (P&L) statements and their impact on payroll decisions.
• Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex, Quick Books) and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
