• Prepare and serve specialty hot and cold beverages, pastries, and food items to customers according to Summer Moon standards.
• Provide quality customer service by informing customers about products to enhance their experience.
• Take orders and process payments by cash and card using a POS system.
• Restock condiment counters and maintain customer areas by sweeping floors and sanitizing tables.
• Consistently clean and maintain working areas (restocking, wiping surfaces, dishes, etc.).
• Complete checklist each shift.
• Receive inventory from suppliers, restock, and put away orders.
• Sweep and mop floors routinely.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to use a stepladder to reach high areas, up to 6 ft.
• Ability to follow safe food and beverage handling procedures to comply with the health department.
• Ability to memorize a large number of drink recipes and move at a fast pace to serve customers quickly.

• Valid food handler’s certificate required. Option to complete during training.

• Prolonged periods of standing and working on cash registers, brewing equipment, and performing various cleaning tasks.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements over long periods of time.
• Ability to operate espresso machines and brewing-related equipment safely and effectively.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must have open availability to work early mornings and evenings on weekends, weekdays, and holidays.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work.

• Must be 17 years of age or older.
