Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant to support the Controller with accounting operations, month-end close, reporting, audits, and public company compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Manage journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis, and month-end close.
- Maintain assigned balance sheet accounts and schedules.
- Support audits, external reporting, and SOX compliance.
- CPA or actively pursuing CPA certification required.
- Public accounting audit or public company accounting experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial close processes
. - Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and communication abilities.
- Experience with SOX, ERP systems, and process improvement is a plus.
