In this position, you will collaborate with the Corporate Controller and the accounting team to manage day-to-day accounting tasks, ensure compliance, and deliver timely financial information. Key skills include proficiency in Sage 300, advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities, and a solid understanding of PSAB financial principles. Your contribution will impact informed decision-making while fostering relationships within the Osoyoos Indian Band community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting activities and general ledger operations

• Review financial reports and prepare adjusting entries

• Organize filing systems and maintain documentation accuracy

• Ensure compliance with GAAP, PSAB, and financial controls

• Train field staff to enhance reporting efficiency

Requirements:

• Minimum five years of progressive accounting experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

• Proficiency in financial systems and Sage 300

• Knowledge of First Nations finance principles
