Position: Detail-Oriented Bookkeeper Role

The ideal candidate for this full-time position will have 2-3 years of relevant experience in accounting or bookkeeping, ensuring compliance with financial administration protocols. Your responsibilities include maintaining accurate financial records using Sage and fostering efficient bookkeeping processes to support management's budgeting activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Update the general ledger with accuracy using Sage

• Record journal entries following GAAP guidelines

• Reconcile accounts and bank statements monthly

• Manage accounts payable and receivable tasks

• Support payroll processing and regulatory compliance

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• Expertise in Sage 300 and Excel

• Strong analytical and communication abilities

• Knowledge of First Nations financial practices
