As a Senior Accountant, you will provide critical support to the finance department while reporting to the Corporate Controller.

Your role focuses on managing day-to-day financial activities, preparing detailed budgets, and ensuring adherence to various accounting standards. Your ability to work cohesively with the governance operations team will drive accurate financial decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work alongside the Corporate Controller to support governance operations

• Review financial records and produce timely reports

• Ensure proper organization of filing systems for fiscal documentation

• Track compliance with financial policies and internal controls

• Utilize Sage 300 across various accounting modules

Requirements:

• At least five years of progressive accounting experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related fields

• Strong proficiency in Sage 300 and Excel

• Excellent analytical and communication skills

• Familiarity with First Nations accounting practices
