Outdoor Living Manufacturing is looking for an experienced assistant controller to assist with accounting functions for our production facility in Penticton. This is a flexible work environment for the right individual.

• Financial Recording:
  Reconcile bank statements, post journal entries, and maintain accurate general ledgers.
• Reporting:
  Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for management review.
• Compliance & Tax:
  Prepare and file PST/GST, payroll taxes, and assist with year-end tax preparation.
• Accounts Payable/Receivable:
  Manage invoicing, expense reports, and vendor payments.
• System Maintenance:
  Continuous process improvement and internal control procedures.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor's or Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field.
• CPA Accounting Designation Required.
• Experience:
  
  Previous experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or auditing.
• Experience:
  
  Accounting: 2 years (required).
• Technical
  
  Skills:
  
  Proficiency in MS Excel, accounting software and ERP systems.
• Soft Skills:
  
  Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Education:
  
  Bachelor's Degree (preferred).

This job operates in an office/manufacturing environment.

Office hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Working overtime or on weekends may be necessary.
