Intermediate​/Senior Accountant

We are seeking a hands-on Senior Accountant to join our growing finance team and support the day-to-day accounting operations.

Working closely with the Controller, this role offers the opportunity to build strong operational accounting experience while contributing to accurate financial reporting, disciplined month-end processes, and continuous process improvement.

• Assist with and support month-end close activities
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and working papers
• Maintain accuracy of the general ledger and supporting schedules
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies and variances
• Support timely financial reporting across multiple entities

• Support receivables collections and payables processes
• Help maintain visibility into cash flow and working capital activities
• Ensure transactional accuracy and timely processing
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve accounting issues

• Support accounting process improvements and standardization initiatives
• Assist with onboarding and integration of new entities
• Help maintain accounting controls, SOPs, and reporting deadlines
• Contribute to workflow efficiency and operational consistency

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Experience supporting month-end close processes
• Manufacturing experience is considered a strong asset
• ERP system experience required
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to analyze and explain financial variances
• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
• CPA designation not required
• Must be local to the Okanagan

• $60,000 - $69,000 based on experience
