Accountant GSL

Position: Accountant Needed at GSL
Elevate your accounting career with GSL in downtown Kelowna. As an Accountant, you will handle financial records, tax compliance, and complex problem-solving daily.

This role is perfect for detail-oriented candidates passionate about finance. You will directly support the Controller, manage reconciliations, and ensure timely month-end close processes. This position also offers a chance to interact with external accountants and auditors for comprehensive financial management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare financial statements and reporting for compliance

• Complete bank account reconciliations efficiently

• Prepare daily sales summaries for accurate records

• Monitor and follow up on accounts receivable

• Ensure timely GST/PST tax returns and remittances

Requirements:

• Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) preferred

• Few years of experience in a full cycle accounting role

• Advanced MS Excel skills required

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics is a plus

• Ability to resolve discrepancies proactively
