Become a vital part of Cogir Senior Living as a Payroll Specialist, dedicated to processing payroll accurately and providing excellent support. This role requires robust payroll knowledge and meticulous attention to detail.
At Cogir Senior Living, you will manage payroll for a diverse portfolio, including assistance with compliance and reporting functions. Your primary duties will include processing payroll, managing deductions, and offering support to employees regarding payroll inquiries. Your experience will ensure strict adherence to federal and provincial regulations, improving processes as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process payroll for salaried and hourly employees
• Verify timesheets and payroll adjustments
• Prepare Records of Employment within deadlines
• Ensure compliance with payroll legislation
• Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive data
Requirements:
• DEC in Accounting, Human Resources, or related field
• Minimum of 4 years in payroll processing
• CPR certification or in progress is preferred
• Familiarity with HRIS and payroll systems
• Bilingual English/French skills are a plus
