Fund Accounting Finance Officer

Support fund accounting and grant compliance at Ki-Low-Na Friendship Society’s Kelowna office through precise coding, reconciliations, and reporting.

As a full-time, permanent Finance Officer, you will manage accounts payable across programs, projects, and funding sources. The work includes monitoring expenditures, preparing documentation, and supporting managers with expense coding. Accuracy, internal controls, and responsive stakeholder service remain central to the position.

• Charge expenditures to appropriate programs and funding sources
• Monitor available funding and identify potential variances
• Support financial information for grants and restricted funding
• Assist staff with coding and documentation requirements
• Prepare records for audits and funder reviews

• Diploma in accounting, bookkeeping, finance, or related field
• Two to four years of full-cycle accounts payable experience
• Experience with fund accounting and restricted funding preferred
• Understanding of internal controls and grant compliance
• Ability to organize work across multiple deadlines
