Job DescriptionPotentia Human Resources is proud to partner with Mario's Towing Ltd. in the recruitment of an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their accounting team at their Kelowna head office.
Mario's Towing is one of British Columbia's most respected towing and recovery companies, proudly serving customers throughout the Okanagan for decades. Known for exceptional customer service, operational excellence, and innovation, the company operates a fleet of more than 100 trucks, provides 24/7/365 dispatch services, and was the first towing company in Canada to introduce a hybrid deck truck.
Behind the scenes is a close-knit team that genuinely enjoys working together. Mario's offers a relaxed, family-oriented workplace where employees support one another, celebrate milestones together, and build long-term careers. With an experienced accounting team and a collaborative approach to work, it's an environment where you can ask questions, learn from others, and develop your skills.
The OpportunityMario's Towing is looking for an organized, adaptable Accounts Receivable Specialist to join its accounting team. Success in this position requires the ability to switch gears quickly, manage competing priorities, and return to tasks without losing track of the details.
With numerous invoices to process in a day, accuracy and efficiency are equally important.
You don't need to know every system or process on day one. The team can provide training and support, but you'll need some foundational accounting or bookkeeping knowledge, strong computer skills, and the confidence to keep things moving in a busy environment. If you enjoy staying organized, solving problems, and having a full day where there's always something to do, this is an opportunity to grow your skills with an established local company.
