Position: Full-Time Nursing Unit Clerk
Join Kelowna General Hospital as a full-time Relief Nursing Unit Clerk, working day shifts from 07:30 to 15:30. This integral role involves processing medical orders and coordinating patient appointments.

Kelowna General Hospital is seeking a Nursing Unit Clerk for a relief position until September 16, 2027. In this role, you'll be responsible for clerical duties, maintaining patient charts, and ensuring smooth communication within the unit. You will also manage scheduling and data entry while contributing to a well-organized environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prioritize and process physicians' orders efficiently

• Act as a communication link for the unit team

• Schedule patient/resident appointments accurately

• Assemble and maintain patient charts and records

• Observe and relay patient call signals to staff

Requirements:

• Grade 12 and medical terminology knowledge

• Completion of a Nursing Unit Clerk program

• One year of related experience at minimum

• Typing certificate of 40 wpm within last 48 months

• Proficiency in data entry and record maintenance
