Responsibilities
Complete all repairs to meet BCAA’s high standards for safety, performance and outstanding service to our Members.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment that complies with environmental standards, operational policies and procedures while ensuring equipment is in good working condition for your entire BCAA team.
Be proactive by staying current with advances in vehicle technology.
Work collaboratively with the Service Manager and other team members to ensure a seamless experience for our Members.
Assist and mentor apprentices and lube technicians to ensure repairs are accurate and complete.
Qualifications
Automotive Red Seal Certificate.
Current and up‑to‑date training on automotive technologies with a focus on OBD‑II courses.
Three years of experience as a Journeyperson Technician.
Clean BC Driver License Class5 or better.
Ability to lift
70lbs (32kg), bend, reach, walk and stand for long periods of time.
Working knowledge of MSOffice (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Experience with Automotive DMS systems and modern scan tools.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary range: $77,074.32 (or $37.05/hr) to $85,638.12 (or $41.17/hr), straight‑rate.
Eligible for a 9% target performance bonus paid quarterly and annually, up to 15%.
3weeks’ vacation plus wellness and cultural days (PTO prorated based on start date).
6% RRSP matching, Defined Contribution Pension.
$300 Wellness Account (prorated).
BCAA membership.
Working Conditions
Full‑time, 5 days a week, on‑site position based out of our Kelowna Auto Service Centre.
Weekend work may be required; flexible hours are acceptable.
Applicants must reside within commuting distance of Kelowna ASC or be willing to relocate to the BC Interior region.
Applicants must meet all qualifications and be able to commute to the Kelowna ASC.
