We seek a dedicated Job Developer who is skilled in assisting individuals facing mental health and substance use challenges. This full-time role involves comprehensive support through each step of the employment journey, focusing on building confidence and skills. Your ability to connect with employers and community resources will create impactful job opportunities tailored for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support clients in understanding job readiness and opportunities
• Facilitate workshops for résumé writing and interview preparation
• Collaborate with mental health service providers
• Encourage the attainment of employment and educational goals
• Build strong relationships with vocational organizations
Requirements:
• Community Social Service Diploma completion
• 2 years' relevant experience in job coaching
• Valid Class 5 B.C. driver's license
• Knowledge of mental health rehabilitation strategies
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
