In this essential role, you will engage with diverse stakeholders in the Okanagan and Thompson-Okanagan regions, developing institutional relationships that drive innovation. You will manage a varied portfolio independently while ensuring alignment with Mitacs' mission and values.
Key Responsibilities:
• Cultivate a robust regional portfolio with diverse partners
• Engage academic institutions like UBC Okanagan and Thompson Rivers
• Shape high-value partnership opportunities connecting talent and resources
• Represent Mitacs at critical regional forums and events
• Guide partnership development through project coordination
Requirements:
• An advanced degree or equivalent experience, PhD preferred
• 3-5 years of successful relationship-building experience
• Understanding of research innovation environments
• Strong strategic thinking and relationship management skills
• Proven ability to work independently across regions
