A well-established development and construction company based in Kelowna is seeking an experienced Civil Foreman to join its growing team. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality civil infrastructure work safely and efficiently.
ResponsibilitiesSupervise and coordinate daily civil construction activities on site
Lead crews performing earthworks, servicing, roadworks, and site preparation
Ensure work is completed according to drawings, specifications, and schedules
Enforce safety standards and maintain a strong safety culture on site
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, inspectors, and subcontractors
Track productivity, materials, and equipment usage
Mentor and develop crew members and operators
Identify and proactively resolve site issues
5+ years of experience in civil construction, with foreman or lead hand experience
Strong background in earthworks, underground utilities, and site servicing
Ability to read and interpret civil drawings and specifications
Proven leadership and communication skills
Solid understanding of construction safety regulations and best practices
Valid driver’s license (Class 1 or 3 considered an asset)
First Aid and CSTS/CSO certifications considered an asset
