Senior Estimator

Position: Senior Estimator Job
Advance your estimating career as a Senior Estimator in Kelowna, BC. Bring your expertise to various construction projects and collaborate closely with Project Development teams.

In this office-based role reporting to the Estimating Manager, you will deliver comprehensive estimating services while working alongside Operations and Estimating teams. This position covers diverse estimating levels, including conceptual work, and requires strong management of supplier and subcontractor proposals for effective client presentations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Solicit, review, and level subcontractor quotes

• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers

• Prepare accurate estimates with detailed quantity takeoffs

• Participate actively in project and client meetings

• Manage and mitigate estimating risks effectively

Requirements:

• 10+ years of estimator experience in general construction

• Post-secondary qualification in engineering or related field

• Proven experience in project coordination or management

• Proficiency in estimating software, especially In Eight

• Strong communication and leadership skills
