Ledcor seeks an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to join their site-based team. With at least five years in heavy civil or mining, you'll advise on safety protocols and provide essential training to staff.
Your role allows you to foster relationships across various levels and lead safety inspections to maintain high operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct site inspections with field supervisors
• Advise on Health and Safety Management Systems
• Monitor compliance with regulatory safety requirements
• Coordinate and conclude safety assessments and incidents
• Oversee safety orientation and training for staff
Requirements:
• 5+ years experience in heavy civil or mining
• Valid CRSP or Occupational Health and Safety credential
• Strong communication and presentation abilities
• Proven experience in risk assessment and program development
• Valid provincial driver’s license with clear abstract
