Site Superintendent Construction

Position: Site Superintendent at Bird Construction
Take charge of construction projects as a Site Superintendent with Bird Construction in Kelowna, BC. Oversee site supervision and administration while upholding corporate values and project goals.

As a key leader reporting to the Field Operations Manager, the Site Superintendent directs pre-construction, construction, and post-construction activities. Your responsibilities include developing schedules, managing resources, and ensuring contract adherence for optimal project execution. You will lead a team, fostering a respectful and professional site culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop project schedules using MS Project or Primavera P6

• Execute the Health, Safety and Environment Plan

• Manage daily construction operations and site logistics

• Oversee subcontractor performance and compliance

• Conduct weekly toolbox talks and hazard assessments

Requirements:

• Degree in construction management or related field

• 10 years’ experience in construction, preferably healthcare or education

• Proficient in MS Office and project management software

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
