Position: Project Coordinator at Bird Construction
Join Bird Construction in Kelowna as a Project Coordinator, where you will play a crucial role in managing safety, quality, and communication on construction projects. Help coordinate production requirements to ensure project success.

The Project Coordinator will closely collaborate with the Project Manager and Superintendent to streamline all aspects of construction projects. You'll engage with clients, subcontractors, and consultants while handling scheduling, cost controls, and administrative tasks. A solid understanding of safety practices and project management will be key to your contributions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with project feasibility studies and intake

• Coordinate with subcontractors and consulting engineers

• Develop and manage project schedules and work plans

• Review shop drawings and oversee materials

• Lead safety initiatives and document turnover

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering, or Construction Management

• Some experience in construction or project coordination

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines

• Driver's license required for site visits
