Project Coordination Internship

Position: Project Coordination Internship at Bird Construction
Gain practical experience with Bird Construction as a Student Project Coordinator in Kelowna, BC. Work on current projects, coordinate tasks, and collaborate in a supportive environment.

This 8-12 month co-op role starts in September 2026 and is ideal for students enrolled in Civil, Mechanical, Structural Engineering, or Construction programs. You'll manage project scopes, review trade quotes, and participate in meetings while working alongside skilled Supervisor and Technical Mentor. Expect a hands-on experience, developing your skills and strengths in a real-world setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate drawings and trade scopes for construction projects

• Review materials and verify trade quotes accurately

• Conduct deficiency walks and maintain logs

• Update field and as-built drawings as needed

• Create and monitor project schedules with sub-trade information

Requirements:

• Enrolled in relevant engineering or construction program

• Minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Ability to lead in a changing environment

• Valid work permit for Bird Construction
