- Assist with demolition, site clean-up, and preparation for construction activities.
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment.
- Set up and maintain temporary barriers, signage, and safety equipment.
- Prepare work areas for drywall, painting, flooring, millwork, and finishing trades.
- Support the TI team with general site tasks as required.
- Support skilled tradespeople including carpenters, electricians, plumbers, painters, and flooring installers.
- Perform basic carpentry, framing, drywall patching, painting, and finishing tasks as directed.
- Assist with the installation of fixtures, millwork, doors, hardware, and other tenant improvement components.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Learn and develop practical construction skills through hands‑on experience.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard‑free construction site.
- Remove debris and ensure proper disposal of waste materials.
- Follow all company safety policies and WorkSafeBC regulations.
- Conduct daily inspections of tools and equipment.
- Contribute to a positive, professional, and safety‑focused work environment.
- Receive and verify deliveries.
- Organize and store materials to prevent damage and maintain productivity.
- Monitor inventory levels of supplies and notify supervisors when materials require replenishment.
- Safely move materials and equipment around the job site.
- Complete assigned tasks to company quality standards.
- Ensure workmanship meets project specifications and expectations.
- Assist with deficiency corrections and project close‑out activities.
- Take pride in maintaining a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous construction or tenant improvement experience is considered an asset.
- Experience working on commercial, retail, or office renovation projects is preferred.
- Previous experience using construction hand and power tools is an asset.
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence and reliable transportation are required.
- Ability to safely drive an oversized truck, including an F-550 Dump Truck.
- Ability to read and follow basic construction drawings and instructions.
- Strong understanding of construction site safety practices.
- Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
- Strong work ethic, initiative, and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Good communication and problem‑solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to take direction.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and project requirements.
- Professional and positive attitude.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Ability to stand, walk, kneel, crouch, climb ladders, perform overhead work, and carry out physically demanding labour throughout the workday.
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to safely operate construction equipment and tools.
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence –
required

- WHMIS Certification – asset.
Salary Range: $22.00 – $24.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
