KF Aerospace seeks a Technical Writer to enhance manuals and develop specialized documentation for aviation projects. This role focuses on innovative solutions for aircraft maintenance.
As a Technical Writer at KF Aerospace, you'll be instrumental in updating and creating manuals for the Convair CV580 and other aircraft types. You will produce important documentation including Maintenance Manuals and Illustrated Parts Catalogues while maintaining rigorous production records. Your expertise will directly support the aviation services provided to corporate, commercial, and military clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Update OEM manuals for Convair CV580 airplane
• Create supplements for aircraft modifications and installations
• Maintain records of publication production
• Control manual revision status efficiently
Requirements:
• Avionics experience is a strong asset
• Proficient in interpreting engineering drawings
• Familiar with ATA 100 aerospace specifications
• Experience with Access and illustration software
• Ability to produce intranet publication documents in Acrobat
