Skate Patrol Customer Service Attendant

Serve skaters at McLaren Arena as a temporary part-time Skate Patrol attendant in Penticton, using communication and ice-skating skills. Various shifts include Saturdays.

The City of Penticton seeks multiple Skate Patrol individuals for public skating programs. You will provide front-line customer service, monitor programs, process admissions, and support safe visitor experiences. The assignment runs November 2026 through March 14, 2027.

• Provide customer service to public skaters and user groups
• Monitor programs to maintain a safe visitor environment
• Host birthday parties from guest arrival through conclusion
• Process admissions, payments, waivers, and skate rentals
• Provide emergency procedures and first aid when required

• Confident ice-skating ability and physical capacity for duties
• Friendly personality with strong communication skills
• Ability to work with cash in busy conditions
• Leadership skills for conflict resolution and firm patron dealings
• Emergency First Aid certificate or willingness to acquire
