Associate Dentist

Overview
Kelowna Dental Centre is seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join their dynamic and innovative dental practice. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing high-quality dental care and will work collaboratively with the team to optimize patient experience. This role requires a broad comprehension of dental procedures in a digital practice, superior communication skills, and the ability to build genuine rapport with patients of all ages.

Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive dental examinations and diagnose oral diseases
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients
Conduct a variety of dental procedures including fillings, extractions, and root canals
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care
Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to provide optimal patient care
Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix
Stay updated on the latest advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment

Requirements
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution
Valid state dental license to practice dentistry
Proficiency in using dental software
Experience in pediatrics is preferred but not mandatory
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff
