Senior Designer Position in Modular Solutions

Location: West Kelowna

Join Freeport Industries as a Senior Designer and lead the design of innovative modular homes.

This role offers hybrid work flexibility and the chance to utilize your creative skills.

In this role, you'll report directly to the President and engage in a variety of design projects. Your focus will be on managing design calculations, ensuring compliance, and collaborating with Junior Designers. You will also address project challenges comprehensively, enhancing the efficiency of the design process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create compliant design solutions for proposals

• Coordinate with estimators and assure specification alignment

• Approve and review all project-related drawings

• Collaborate on building permit package preparation

• Conduct site visits and document best practices

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years relevant design experience

• Proven leadership capability

• Expertise in REVIT and Microsoft Office

• Deep knowledge of project management practices

• Understanding of BC and Alberta building regulations
