PRH is looking to expand its Emergency Medicine group and is seeking certified individuals (Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada Emergency or Certificate of Canadian Family Practitioners - Emergency) to join our collegial team.

We have a dedicated group of 18 Emergency physicians from diverse backgrounds, including CCFP-EM and FP-EM, supporting approximately 41,000 visits annually. There is excellent specialist support, with double physician coverage during most of the day and evenings. PRH offers outstanding radiology services with on-site CT and MRI. We are also a Regional Trauma Referral Centre and collaborate actively with the University of British Columbia’s Southern Medical Program, providing opportunities to mentor 4th-year medical students and Family Practice Residents.

This position allows you to enjoy the South Okanagan's exceptional recreation and culture, including world-class wineries, beaches, boating, hiking, fishing, golf, and rock climbing, all while working in the Penticton Regional Hospital Emergency Department.

This is a long-term locum position with potential for future transition to a permanent role. The locum duration is flexible, ideally around 6-9 months.
