Overview
Freelance Behavioral Coach:
Habit Change is a freelance coaching role within a network of Fabulous app coaches and facilitators. Sessions are offered to Fabulous members through a coaching subscription, supporting ongoing coaching relationships. All Fabulous coaches study the Fabulous curriculum and are certified to work under the Fabulous Coaching Code, focusing on professional excellence, ethics, best practices, and ongoing learning.
- native or advanced fluency in English
- hold 10 (30 minutes) sessions per week
- knowledge of habit formation psychology
- create stability for long-lasting coaching relationships with regular Fabulous members
- log each member’s progress and insights after each session
- note recommendations to support future sessions
- participate in providing guidance in text form via the in-app community space:
Circles - complete the Fabulous Training Curriculum
- maintain open communication with the Coaching Lead to stay updated on the expanding Fabulous coaching service
- adhere to and contribute to ethical, business and coaching guidelines to benefit Fabulous members
- engage respectfully with all members to help them within the scope of Fabulous app content (habits, focus, etc.)
- hold a coaching and/or facilitation certification of at least 100 hours
- have completed at least 100 hours of coaching practice with clients outside of training
- provide testimonials from clients or a mentor recommendation
- knowledge of behavioral science principles and how to support reconceptualizing habits as tiny steps repeated over time
- knowledge of the science of compassion and ability to explain its relevance to change
