Join Big White Ski Resort as a Winter Ski Instructor in Kelowna, BC! This part time role offers an exciting opportunity to teach skiing in a vibrant winter landscape.
We are seeking instructors with a minimum of CSIA Level 2 certification for the entire winter season. Available candidates will work during peak holiday times and commit to up to 15 hours per week throughout winter. You will teach group lessons focused on creating a fun atmosphere, ensuring safety, and measuring student progress with actionable recommendations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach according to CSIA standards for group clients
• Prioritize safety for guests and other staff
• Develop lesson content for enjoyable experiences
• Evaluate students and guide future learning paths
• Work effectively with other instructors and staff
Requirements:
• CSIA Level 2 or higher certification needed
• Experience in ski instructing or similar leadership
• Language skills in Spanish, French, or Mandarin preferred
• Comfort in extreme weather conditions
• Must pass a criminal record check
