Summer Intern for Children and Youth Ministry

Engage youth as a Summer Intern at Penticton Alliance Church, fostering faith. Support ministry planning and create exciting spiritual activities this summer.

Penticton Alliance Church is looking for a dedicated summer intern to work in its Children’s and Youth Ministry. In this full-time role, you will partner with ministry pastors to share the gospel effectively through innovative lesson plans, games, and crafts. Your work will help nurture the spiritual growth of children and teens during Sunday services and special events like the VBS weekend.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate on planning impactful summer events

• Develop vibrant lesson plans for various age groups

• Create fun games and craft activities for Sundays

• Assist in organizing VBS weekend logistics

• Report to the Children & Family Ministries Pastor

Requirements:

• Desire to inspire youth in their faith journey

• Creative mindset suited for dynamic activities

• Commitment to 30-35 work hours weekly

• Enjoyment of team collaboration in a ministry setting

• Relevant prior experience in ministries is advantageous
