Montessori Kindergarten Teacher BC

Okanagan Montessori is seeking a Montessori Kindergarten Teacher to lead its early education program in Kelowna, BC. Help children thrive through hands-on learning experiences and developmental support.
This full-time role requires a BC Certified Teacher and/or BC Licensed Early Childhood Educator committed to early childhood education. You will create a nurturing environment, plan a rich curriculum, and foster independence in each child’s learning journey. Montessori training is a valuable asset that will enhance our program.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning and implementation of the Junior Kindergarten program

• Foster an engaging and safe classroom for children

• Implement age-appropriate pedagogy supporting all aspects of growth

• Document and observe children’s learning progress

• Collaborate with families regarding their children's educational journey
Requirements:

• Valid BC Teaching or ECE Certificate required

• Current First Aid Certification is essential

• Strong understanding of child development practices

• Excellent communication and organizational skills needed

• Experience with curriculum planning and Montessori education preferred
