Become an Elementary Teacher at Senpaq'cin, a First Nations Authorized IB PYP World School in the South Okanagan. This role focuses on creating inquiry-based learning experiences rooted in local First Nations culture and protocols.

Senpaq'cin is seeking an Elementary Teacher to implement and evaluate learning experiences aligned with BC and IB PYP curricula. This role requires collaboration with colleagues, engaging with families, and promoting student-initiated inquiries. As a pivotal member of our teaching team, you will contribute to extracurricular programs and integrate First Nations language and culture into daily instruction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement inquiry-based learning experiences

• Differentiate learning to cater to diverse student needs

• Facilitate student exploration and inquiry lessons

• Collaborate with teaching staff for idea sharing

• Maintain communication with students' families

Requirements:

• BC Teacher Regulation Branch Certificate

• PYP training or relevant experience preferred

• Experience in First Nations education environment

• Willing to learn Okanagan Language

• Valid Driver's License
